Multi-Grain

Multi-grain simply means that the bread or pasta was prepared with two or more grains, it has nothing to do with how refined the flour base used is. If it is white, it means it has been stripped of most of its nutrients and has four times less nutrients than that of whole wheat.

Dietician Thomas says “Instead, look for 100% whole wheat, which means that all of the grain kernel has been used so you're getting as much fiber and nutrients as possible.”
