Manama: Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the biggest urban development companies in Bahrain, has signed up as a strategic sponsor of the Gulf Property Show 2016.

Bahrain’s largest dedicated showcase for the global real estate and property development sector will be held from April 26 to 28 at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

Organised by Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE), the three-day show takes place alongside two other major exhibitions – gulfBID and gulfInteriors – thus ensuring the continued success of the biggest integrated business-to-business showcase for the construction, interiors and property sectors ever to be staged in the Northern Gulf.

The announcement follows the signing of a corporate sponsorship agreement between Diyar Al Muharraq chief executive Dr Maher Al Shaer and HCE managing director Jubran Abdulrahman.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of other members from the management of both companies.

As always, Diyar Al Muharraq will occupy a prominent place among its peers in the reputed exhibition with the exception that in the upcoming edition of the Gulf Property Show, physically, the urban developer will host visitors in their largest ever stand as they look to increase visibility, attract more interest and maximise exposure.

In its fourth participation, Diyar Al Muharraq intends to showcase its master plan, along with models of the eclectic mix of projects that it encompasses.

This includes significant developments such as the recently opened Dragon City, which encompasses Dragon Mall, the Dining Village, a warehousing area and Dragon Apartments.

It will also be exhibiting other noteworthy projects that form an integral part of the development such as Marassi Al Bahrain, which is planned to be the biggest mixed-use waterfront project in the kingdom and Al Bareh that is composed of three main areas namely seafront residential plots, residential plots and residential investment plots.

Diyar Al Muharraq will also be showcasing its ongoing projects such as Diyar Homes and the social housing project in partnership with the government.

The social housing project comprises 3,100 residential units, its associated primary and secondary infrastructures and community centres.

Additionally, the commercial projects that remain up for grabs such as commercial villa plots, the B5 Residential Buildings Plots, light industry/logistics and warehousing plots and commercial showroom plots that are yet to be booked will be highlighted during the exhibition as well.

“With the kingdom scaling unprecedented heights in the real estate market, the Gulf Property Show continues to grow at an exponential rate attracting visitors and exhibitors from all over the region, enabling it to emerge as the premier exhibition of its kind in the Middle East,” Dr Al Shaer said.

“We look forward to exhibiting our monumental project at such a professional and renowned exhibition.”
