Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan stressed the importance of further enhancing industrial and handicraft training, particularly in the sectors of technology and energy which are fast-growing.
He underlined Bahrain’s drive to bolster its competitiveness as a regional centre for vocational training and the development of human resources, stressing the importance of investing in human resources, which represent the driving engine to achieve development and spur growth.
The minister made the statement as he received National Industrial Training Institute chairman Emad Abdulrahman Almoayyed, who outlined plans to develop programmes to keep pace with the labour market shifts and upgrade industrial and handicraft training.
