A Bahraini husband and his wife were killed in an accident near a road linking Dammam and Abu Hadriya in Saudi Arabia, it was reported yesterday.
The bodies of the couple were repatriated yesterday at 6am from Saudi Arabia for burial in Bahrain.
Bahrain’s Ambassador to Riyadh Shaikh Humood bin Abdulla Al Khalifa tweeted, extending condolences to the couple’s bereaved families.
He thanked the Jubail Governor and other Saudi authorities for their co-operation.
He said that the embassy had dispatched an employee to finalise procedures for the repatriation of the bodies.
