MANAMA: More than 250 delegates from the Mena financial services sector are expected to gather in Bahrain in April for the fifth edition of the Middle East Asset Management Forum (MEAMF).
The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced the one-day forum will again be held in partnership with Global Investor Group, a part of Euromoney group.
During the event, panellists including asset managers, bankers, lawyers, brokers, academics, regulators and executives will over six sessions discuss themes like economic prospects for 2020 and beyond; the role of financial regulators in asset management; ethical, environmental and social investing; robo-advisers and tokenisation of real estate.
Commenting, CBB executive director of financial institutions supervision Abdulrahman Al Baker said, “We are pleased to host the Annual Middle East Asset Management Forum in its fifth edition, in order to shed light on key developments in the asset management industry in light of the economic and technological changes and uncertainties in the region and globally, and to stress on the position of Bahrain as the pre-eminent financial centre of asset management and investment.”
This year’s forum partners include Hassan Radhi and Associates as platinum category sponsor, Sico as silver category sponsor, Inovest as bronze category sponsor and Eurekahedge as media partner.
Confirmed speakers include asset management expert Dr Murat Ünal as well as top officials from Hassan Radhi and Associates, Bahrain Bourse, Fitch Ratings, International Islamic Financial Market (IIFM) and Century Financial UAE.
The forum is scheduled to take place on April 6 at the Gulf Hotel.
