Bahrain Future Youth Society’s Smile initiative, which provides psychosocial support to children with cancer and their parents, held a ceremony to celebrate the willpower of 13 children who successfully defeated the disease.
The initiative is being supported by Brave Combat Federation’s KHK Heroes project, presided by Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Smile members, parents and volunteers as well as officials from Brave, including chief operating officer Valeria Lang and MMA champion Eldar Eldarov, attended.
Society president Subah Al Zayani thanked Shaikh Khalid for his initiative to support the children.
