Kuwait: Kuwait citizens and residents have been urged today to use their ATM cards, instead of banknotes and coins, to reduce the risks of contracting the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) made the call through its twitter account, urging community responsibility to contribute to efforts led by the Government and other voluntary bodies to combat the virus.
The CBK urged the customers to cooperate and comply with the banking instructions.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has today, Wednesday, announced that a 12th case of Covid-19 has been diagnosed.
