HOLDERS of tickets to the 2020 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will be refunded fully, announced Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) yesterday.
This follows the BIC announcing on Sunday that the race, one of the region’s biggest sporting and entertainment events, will be a “participants-only” event, in light of the global spread of coronavirus (Covid-19).
The event is scheduled to be held at BIC in Sakhir from March 19 to 22.
“On Sunday, we announced that the 2020 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will take place as a participants-only event,” said a BIC announcement.
“As a result of this, the BIC is contacting all ticket holders to notify them of the refund process.
“All ticket holders are entitled to a full refund and have been notified already by email.
“The refund process will depend on your original payment method.”
