The closure of government-run rehabilitation centres has been extended until March 29, as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus.
The move is in line with directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to extend the closure of public and private educational institutions, higher educational institutions and pre-schools for an additional two weeks.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Development said that the two-week additional closure applies also to training centres, nurseries, private and public community centres providing support to individuals with disabilities, as well as licensed private training centres and institutes.
