BAHRAIN’S business community pledged to go ahead with planned projects, to minimise the negative impact of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) on the nation’s economy.
A meeting was held between the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) to co-ordinate efforts to continue the development march of the kingdom despite the current crisis situation.
Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Alzayani stressed the importance of teamwork to uphold Bahrain’s interests, adding that only through solidarity and a sense of national responsibility can any challenge be overcome.
BCCI chairman Sameer Nass said members of the chamber were keen to go ahead with development work under the current circumstances, to meet the aspirations of the people and for the well-being of the country and citizens.
