MANAMA: Awal Women Society (AWS) is holding an E-Forum via a webinar portal tomorrow for its golden jubilee titled Women and Technology, bringing together leading local and regional women activists, alongside representatives of globally renowned civil society institutions, women societies and NGOs.

The keynote speakers of AWS E-Forum represent the Supreme Council for Women and the United Nations Development Programme among other NGOs and civil society organisations.
AWS E-Forum comes in line with the national efforts within the National Campaign to Combat Coronavirus and taking the necessary measures to protect the nation from this pandemic.
Moreover, the upcoming online event will shed more light on AWS vital technological role as one of the leading civil society institutions to realise the necessity of women’s IT empowerment, making the best use of high-tech in their daily personal and working life, and exploiting technology for the sake of protecting women’s rights and feminine interests.
