MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad issued a Royal order renaming the Royal Charity Organisation.
It stipulates that the Royal Charity Organisation be renamed the Royal Humanitarian Foundation.
The Royal order will come into effect on the date of its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
The new name reflects His Majesty’s vision of broadening the foundation’s work in accordance with the principles of Islam, the King’s representative for charity work and youth affairs and Royal Humanitarian Foundation’s board of trustees chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa said.
