Manama: Al Masria Universal Airlines, an Egyptian based carrier, has appointed Sanad Travel and Tourism as its general sales agent in Bahrain.
Flights between Cairo International Airport and Bahrain International Airport are to start from June 6 with three flights weekly every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
Since its inception in 2007 the airline has grown its network and today operates scheduled flights to Europe, North Africa and the GCC from Cairo in addition to domestics flights to Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada. Bahrain is the carrier’s third destination in the GCC in addition to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Sanad Travel and Tourism, a leading travel agency in Bahrain, will be responsible for reservations and ticketing in addition to guest support and administrative facilities.
“We are very proud to have been appointed as the general sales agent for Al Masria Universal Airline in Bahrain. This is another key milestone for us and further cements our commitments towards Bahrain’s aviation and tourism sector,” Sanad Travel and Tourism commercial director Yousif Bin Sanad said.
“Both countries enjoy longstanding strong ties on various fronts, and we are confident that offering travellers and tourists greater choice will further strengthen the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Egypt,” he added.
