Leading hospitality group Rezidor has announced that Nofa Resort and Club, a luxury private members club located outside Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will join the group in the third quarter and will be operated as a members-only resort.
Comprising 57 luxury villas, the property represents the newest addition to the company’s expanding portfolio in Saudi Arabia, which now features 27 hotels in operation or under development.
“The Nofa Resort and Club is an iconic and exceptionally exclusive product allowing us to enter the luxury hospitality segment in Saudi Arabia, to further diversify our offer, and to strengthen our position in the Kingdom”, said Wolfgang M Neumann, president and CEO of Rezidor.
“As the market in Saudi Arabia matures, niche offers such as members-only resorts become increasingly popular and attract an influential clientele. We look forward to offering our international standards and services to these guests and to unlocking additional value for them,” added Elie Younes, executive vice president and chief development officer of Rezidor.
The lodge-like Nofa Resort and Club is only four years old and located 84 km away from Riyadh within the municipality of Al Nemar. Adjacent to the unique property is the Nofa Safari Park with an extensive collection of wild and desert animals such as the famous Arabian Oryx.
The resort facilities include two family-dining restaurants, a coffee lounge and a juice bar, state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a large entertainment centre, an equestrian centre, a golf resort, a palm and fruit orchard, and a safari zone. The property also features a mega, state-of-the-art banquet hall that will host large, high profile conferences, conventions, exhibitions, weddings and other types of events accommodating more than 800 people. - TradeArabia News Service
