Kuwait: Violent clashes erupted between a group of Kuwaiti military cadet students and their Sudanese counterparts at a Sudanese University.

A military source told Arabic newspaper Alanba that the brawl left 12 to 14 Kuwaiti students injured in Khartoum.

The Sudanese students reportedly caused the brawl as they started provoking and insulting the Kuwaitis who are in their first year at the Sudanese university.

Kuwaiti Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General Mohammed Al-Khedr ordered an inquiry into the incident to ensure the students' safety in Khartoum.
