Six Gulf nationals facing trial for gang-raping two expatriate women

Abu Dhabi: Six young Gulf nationals are facing trial on charges of gang-raping two expatriate girls. Three of them appeared before the Criminal Court in Sharjah while the other suspects are standing trial in absentia. The plaintiffs said that the suspects kidnapped them as they were leaving a hotel and drove them to a flat in their car, where they sexually assaulted them. The abductors later released the victims who headed to the nearest police station where they filed a lawsuit
