Bahrain: An Indian man, who went missing on Wednesday night, has still not been found.

Married father-of-two Sadath Elangattil, 40, from Kerala, was last seen sleeping in his room in Riffa on Wednesday.

His uncle Kunjabdulla Elangattil, told the GDN yesterday that despite all efforts he has not been found.

“During the weekend, we searched for him in all places in Bahrain we possibly could.

“With the support of friends, we went to parks, beaches, hospitals and bus depots. I also went to the Labour Market Regulatory Authority to check if they have taken him into custody. But there is no record on such an incident, according to them.”

Mr Elangattil also planned to file a police complaint last night.

“I have yet to inform his family and I am concerned.”
