Methods to implement the law to professionalise sports have been highlighted by Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Khalid, who chaired the weekly virtual meeting of the Co-ordination, Execution and Follow-up Committee, called for studies and analysis on how new laws can held develop the youth and sports sector. He added that developing legislations in the field of sports would have a positive impact on Bahraini youth, enabling them to be proactive and creative.
The meeting was attended by MP Abdullah Al Dooseri, head of the Constant Awareness Committee for Youth and Sports at Parliament, and Sultan Al Suwaidi, director of the Legislation and Official Gazette at the Legislation and Legal Opinion Authority.
