MORE than half of INJAZ Bahrain’s students recently completed the Entrepreneurial Skill Pass (ESP) examination, an international qualification that certifies them to start a business or get successfully employed.
The exam taken online by high school and university students last month compliments INJAZ Bahrain’s vision of preparing the youth of Bahrain to succeed in the global economy.
Fifty-two per cent of the students who sat for the exam passed compared to a 37pc pass rate last year, said a statement.
“Our students have spared no efforts in pursuing their educational goals and have worked relentlessly to acquire the ESP certification,” said INJAZ Bahrain chairwoman Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The ESP, accredited by JA Europe, INJAZ Al Arab, INJAZ Bahrain and the Education Ministry, is a full package that aims to support entrepreneurial learning outcomes and provide students with the skills and competencies employers are looking for.
A passing score of 70pc or higher qualifies students for the ESP certification.
Certified students will be offered further extended learning opportunities including but not limited to scholarships, internships, mentorships, free training courses and invitations to local and international forums.
