The Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies has launched the first Certificate in Diplomatic Studies. It targets the Foreign Ministry’s diplomats who haven’t taken part in the Foundation Programmes for Diplomats.
The degree also concerns public sector employees working in foreign affairs and international cooperation in various governmental entities in Bahrain.
The online evening programme, which lasts for nine weeks, will start on June 7 and run until the August 6. It offers interactive workshops and lectures via videoconference, in the fields of politics and diplomacy, in addition to various concepts and skills, such as effective communication, diplomatic language, and the art of negotiation. Those interested can register on www.mbma.gov.bh between today and May 31.
