I fell off the side of the bed, three times, last week. I am a pedantic compliant with our national social distancing directives, and keep my distance from my own family members too.
Um Ali, inadvertently, (she said!), crept into my zone, and I, instinctively, rolled back to regain my isolation, and found myself on the floor. Luckily, I wasn’t injured.
It was a nightmare, really.
I think we need a wider bed, but all furniture shops are in lockdown, and when they are not, after the lockdown, we won’t need a wider bed!
But I am glad to see the drones being used to educate foreign labourers about complying with social distancing, in their own languages too, as reported in the GDN and on BTV.
I don’t know why they don’t have them speak in Arabic, and have them hover over natives too, and into their households, telling granddads not to hug their grandchildren, and the like.
The videos taken by the drone cameras would make fun-viewing for someone, but it’s all for a good cause, of course.
They could then, fairly, reward those complying with social distancing directives, like BTV nightly competitions have been trying to do.
I woke up this morning hoping all that was a dream, but it, regrettably, wasn’t.
Have a nice day anyway.
At least ‘virtually’!
