BAHRAIN yesterday registered another 286 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of active cases to 4,289.
Of yesterday’s new cases, 174 were migrant workers, 104 contracted the virus from local contacts and eight were from abroad.
The Health Ministry also said that 305 people left treatment and isolation facilities yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,873.
The ministry also revealed that only 26 of the active cases are receiving treatment of which seven are critical.
“There are currently 26 Covid-19 cases receiving treatment, of which seven are in a critical condition,” it said.
Bahrain has so far recorded 8,174 cases, including the active cases, the recoveries and 12 deaths.
The ministry added that 262,107 individuals have been tested so far.
