After seeing the daily statistics in the Gulf Daily News, and noting from whence the highest figures stem, it makes me very angry to see mobs of the expat labour force hanging around in various parts of Bahrain.
No social distancing, some with no masks. They are supposed to be tired. What is to stop them going home with clorex and disinfectant and cleaning out where they live? Clorex is probably cheaper than cigarettes. As for the cleaning, oh perish the thought... men cleaning, no that’s a job for women.
Who cares what is happening in other parts of the world. This is our island, respect it if you live here. This pandemic could be over and done with here quickly if everyone took their responsibility seriously. Not as if it has nothing to do with them which seems to be some people’s attitude.
Shape up, get real and sort this mess out before if gets worse. No one else should die or suffer long the after-effects of coronavirus. Authorities, please put pressure on people to wake up. Do we have to put up with the sickness and deaths until next Eid or the next because people just don’t care or can’t think that this pandemic is anything other than a joke? It is not. Face facts.
