Two hundred mosques have been cleaned by volunteers in readiness to reopen for worshippers.
The voluntary teams have finished cleaning all mosques under the Jaffari Waqf (Endowment) Directorate in partnership with Basma Cleaning and Maintenance Services Company.
The directorate's board of trustees chairman Yousif Al Saleh said reopening of the mosques now depends on the government with everything in place to safeguard and protect worshippers' wellbeing and health.
