King Fahad Causeway authorities have finished resurfacing 100,000 square metres on both sides of the causeway, said King Fahad Causeway Authority (KFCA) chief executive Emad Al Muhaisen.
He also pointed out that the decision to reopen the Causeway lies with the competent authorities in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
He made the clarification on his twitter account, in response to queries. “Applications concerning humanitarian cases should be submitted through official channels in both countries to facilitate their entry or exit,” Mr Al Muhaisen added.
