As the citizens of Bahrain are following guidelines set by government authorities, we, in turn, want our rights to be implemented. Electricity and water bills were paid to landlords to lessen the financial burden on tenants for the months of April, May and June. As of yet, only a few landlords have complied and many have heard nothing – which is unfair – as the government has paid that cost to landlords but they are still charging their tenants!
