Riyadh: A Saudi child made headlines after he was beaten up by his 22-year elder brother for cheering his favorite team Al Ahli after it won the Abdullatif Jameel Football League Championship.
A video recording of the boy being slapped on his face moved Al Ahli Cub President Musaid Al-Zuwaihri who ordered a special reward for the child.

Al Ahli Media Centre director Salim Al-Ahmadi said that the 5-year-old boy will also attend the presentation ceremony.
A delegation from the Ministry of Social Affairs – Al-Taif branch- visited the child. They did not find any traces of physical violence on his body.
They also heard the elder brother who filmed himself as he was hitting the child.
The ministry later announced on its twitter handle that it would enforce rules to protect children and refer any violation to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution, reported local Arabic daily Al-Riyadh.
