Getting a telephone connection at home, each and every expatriate has to give a BD100 deposit. Since many people are losing their jobs and being terminated by employers, they need to cancel the connection and return to their home country.
One of my colleagues contacted the telephone company to get a refund, and they said it would take three months.
in the above situation, how can they get the money back from the telephone company. There should be some authentic reason to hold the amount and in this case, the person is leaving the country.
I would suggest TRA look into it and see that the telephone companies are returning the deposit amount immediately on producing their receipts.
