Please please would someone stop this awful habit of spitting? Emphatic. It is dangerous!
Please put up notices in all languages here that people must not grate out their throats and spit?
For 50 years or more this has gone on. End it now. A notice posted in windows of small cold stores and vegetable shops would help.
Just last evening the shop worker in our local vegetable shop grated out his throat and spat against the shop wall inches from boxed stocks of vegetables. When confronted with what he had done he played dumb and the shop owner said they did not understand English so he was shouted at in Arabic. Uuuum he understood then despite not being an Arab national.
Please please this habit must be stopped.
