Screens, be they laptops, TV or mobile phones, are the only mediums to connect to what interests us these days!
Choice is unlimited and we gravitate towards what is interesting to our tastes and ignore that which holds no importance to us!
We do have a right to our choices as we are in lockdown and let’s believe in them, too.
We choose our stories, our beliefs, our political affiliation, our favourite songs, jokes, etc etc. It’s an opportunity to follow what is important to us!
Each human being has an adjustment mechanism during a crisis which is unique to him/herself.
We react, behave, talk, write accordingly!
There is no benchmark to say “mine is better than yours”.
Fast growing technology and the space created by it provides a lot to absorb, discard, focus on or just scan.
We dive into the deep ocean of information flowing all around and pick the pearl of our choice.
Once we surpass this dark era of “what ifs” and the days return to a normal routine, may we remember the lessons we learnt!
May we remember that –
* we can coexist with distancing
* we can say “oh you are right but so am I“
* we can share
* we can respect our differences
* we can live with minimal resources
* we can contribute to the society in various ways.
Life is a teacher that never gets tired of making us learn and so learn we shall...
