The Ambassador of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder, has said that the Bahrain embassy in Cairo continued running urgent matters and following up the affairs of Bahraini citizens in the Arab Republic of Egypt, following the temporary suspension of work.
The temporary suspension of work took place as the embassy building, located in Zamalek, Cairo, sustained damage as a result of subsidence caused by the ongoing subway network excavation.
The Ambassador praised the great co-operation shown by the concerned authorities in Egypt with regard to the damage caused and lauded the measures they took to protect the security and safety of the embassy’s diplomats, employees and visiting citizens, which reflected the deep ties between the two brotherly countries.
The embassy has put on the disposal of Bahraini citizens the following telephone numbers for any required assistance or inquiry: 01149999566 - 01272442749 – 01112580203.
