His Majesty King Hamad yesterday held a telephone call with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and congratulated him on the successful surgery he had undergone last week.
They exchanged Eid Al Adha greetings and wished the two brotherly countries and people, as well as Arab and Islamic nations, many happy returns, and further progress and prosperity.
The Saudi monarch expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for his wishes and fraternal feelings, which, he said, embody the depth of deep-rooted relations between the two kingdoms.
His Majesty separately held a phone call with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and exchanged greetings on Eid Al Adha. They reviewed historic relations binding the Bahrain and Palestine.
His Majesty also received calls from Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al Kadhimi and Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, ruler of the state and territory of Johor Darul Ta’zim in Malaysia.
They exchanged Eid Al Adha greetings and reviewed distinguished relations.
