MANAMA: Small and medium enterprises and startups have increased their exports by 65 per cent over the first seven months, compared with the same period last year.
Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani revealed the statistics as he took part in a remote conference.
The minister was a keynote speaker in the virtual event, themed ‘GCC Economic and Entrepreneurial Sifts due to Covid-19.’
A total of 492 entrepreneurs, businessmen, experts and academic figures from 78 countries took part.
