MANAMA: The Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) plans to embark on an extensive field study to benefit from exceptional economic expertise, and best practices derived from experiences of member states of the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The effort will involve interviewing a number of Bahrainis who are currently working, or have previously worked, in some of these countries, with the aim of utilising their opinions to enrich developmental decisions in Bahrain.
Interviews are scheduled to commence during the current month, during which Derasat will invite candidates willing to participate, to register through https://surveymonkey.com/r/derasat_study
Afterwards a member of the Derasat team will reach out to the candidates to set up an appointment for a phone or online video interview.
Derasat aspires – through this field study – to benefit from Bahrainis’ experiences as a qualitative addition to this research.
Bahraini nationals who are professional experts in economics, have worked for a year or more in an OECD member state have been invited to register.
Those registering must also agree to a personal interview not exceeding 60 minutes and that personal and intellectual data are subject to safety and security guarantees.
