MANAMA: The achievements of Bahrain amidst the Covid-19 challenges will be highlighted during an online event next month.
Organised by Worksmart for Events Management and Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH), the Virtual Bahrain 2020: Online Conference & Exhibition is scheduled to take place on September 15 and 16.
Under the theme, ‘The New Normal Initiative: Bringing Sectors Together for the Next Plan through Technology,’ the event aims to bring together different sectors to collaborate and learn from each other on how each industry is coping with the ‘new normal’.
Topics to be covered include eGovernment, eLearning, eHealth, Online food services and hospitality, eCommerce, eBanking, Cyber-security and virtual operations, Modern media and the Internet.
Worksmart for Events Management Group chief executive Ahmed Al Hujairy said: “In the real-time environment of unprecedented disruption, Virtual Bahrain 2020, will offer a thought-provoking and networking-rich conference and exhibition.
“Each sector has a role in the national development initiative and the event aims to become a platform allowing them to share their experiences and best practices in their journey in overcoming the challenges,” he added.
