THE US serviceman found dead outside a building in Juffair on Tuesday has been identified as a decorated officer. Sergeant Trevor Goldyn, a communications marine assigned to the 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, was found dead in a “non-combat related incident”, according to a Marine Corps service Press release. The death is still under investigation. Goldyn, who joined the Marine Corps in June 2016, has been awarded the Good Conduct Medal, a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
