Riyadh: A Saudi woman filed for divorce five days after she got married because her husband did not offer Salat (Muslim prayer).
The court accepted her plea and issued a verdict in her favour. The court also asked her to pay SR55,000 to her husband.
The husband too lodged a lawsuit against his wife who left his house without informing him, reported Arabic daily Al-Watan.
