Referring to SC’s letter (GDN, September 2) about the unavailability of Thyroxine tablets, I also wish to state that the “Euthyrox” medicines in 25, 50, 75, 100 mg are also not available in any pharmacies in Bahrain. It seems there has been a severe short supply of thyroid medicines in Bahrain. Probably the number of thyroid patients have increased.
I hope the Health Ministry will resolve the matter.
