Board exams are usually the biggest test for a teenager. I am sure every Asian will remember his part.
I am really pained to see my child and all the CBSE board students losing an academic year. CBSE schools previously risked the lives of children and proceeded with exams in spite of the Covid-19 lockdown.
CBSE schools were the first to receive the grants from our government. They were the first to refuse the reduction in fees; they were the first to charge AC fees for closed classrooms; and they were also the first to charge for transport in spite of buses not plying. Funny, isn’t it? And no one questioned them.
CBSE schools have purposely not bothered to get the original mark sheet and are putting the blame on Covid-19 for the delay. How strange?
All other schools in Bahrain got their exam mark sheet in spite of the pandemic. The schools should be held responsible and legal action must be taken against them as all colleges are opening on September 20 while all CBSE children are staying in their room. All their efforts and hard work has gone in vain.
As a parent I feel the pain and agony the parents are going through and they know for sure their children, who worked so hard and risked their lives, will not attend college in 2020.
Do you think they should have failed? Would that have been better?
I request the Education Ministry and the Indian Embassy to take legal action against these schools and make them pay compensation to every student who has not received his original mark sheet and missed out on joining college this year.
