Manama: Gulf International Bank (GIB) has been named winner in six categories by the New York-based Global Finance magazine’s “2020 World’s Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Banks Awards Middle East”, the bank announced yesterday.
GIB won four out of seven awards for Saudi Arabia (KSA), the Middle East’s largest market, and two in Bahrain. The awards were:
- Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Bank, KSA
- Best Online Cash Management Services, KSA
- Best Trade Finance Services, KSA
- Best Open Banking APIs, KSA
- Best Trade Finance Services, Bahrain
- Best Open Banking APIs, Bahrain
GIB Group chife executive Abdulaziz Al Helaissi said, “We’re delighted with the continued recognition of GIB’s leadership in digital and transaction banking. These awards underscore the important role GIB has and continues to play in leading the development and adoption of digital banking products and services in both corporate and retail banking.”
