MANAMA: The Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry has launched a new electronic system for industrial zones services.
The move aims to streamline online communication with investors and all ministry-affiliated industrial zones and speed up transactions delivery.
Assistant under-secretary for industrial development Abdulkareem Ahmed Al Rashid said the industrial areas development directorate has started reviewing all its internal procedures and used electronic systems to develop a comprehensive e-system to serve tenants at the industrial zones.
The system allows investors to submit all applications, communicate with the directorate and obtain the required approvals online, he said.
The industrial areas development directorate offers more than 10 services available on the ministry’s website, he pointed out.
