Riyadh: Students from 39 universities across Saudi will participate in the NEOM AI Challenge launched by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
Over 400 male and female university students will be part of the initiative by the Global AI Summit, which aims to find innovative and sustainable solutions to ensure a hassle-free life in NEOM.
NEOM, which means new future, is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia which will incorporate smart city technologies and function as a tourist destination.
The challenge is part of the government’s efforts to increase awareness about artificial intelligence and encourage Saudi youth to think innovatively.
SDAIA will host the competition at King Abdul Aziz International Conference in Riyadh on September 16.
