His Majesty King Hamad last night received a phone call from US President Donald Trump congratulating him on the signing of the declaration of support for peace between Bahrain and Israel.
President Trump thanked His Majesty for Bahrain’s efforts to reach the agreement.
He said Bahrain has followed the path of peace, which will encourage everyone to engage in the peace process to ensure security and prosperity for all countries in the region and their peoples.
His Majesty stressed that peace is a strategic choice for Bahrain and that the kingdom’s vision and approach are based on mutual understanding, dialogue and co-operation as well as enhancing coexistence and rapprochement between nations and different cultures away from tensions.
