The Health Ministry has announced the deaths of two Bahraini men, aged 84 and 87, from Covid-19 today.
This takes today's tally to four and the total number of deaths to 250 in the kingdom.
Earlier today, the ministry had announced the deaths of two Bahraini women, aged 64 and 73.
The ministry has expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
Bahrain yesterday registered 574 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 718 recoveries and one fatality.
A Bahraini man, 88, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 246.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 574 new cases, 167 were expat workers, 399 contacts of local cases and eight travel-related. It said an additional 718 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total number of recoveries to 64,267.
