The directorate of agriculture and marine resources yesterday released photographs of one of Bahrain’s rarest birds, as they hatched out from an egg in Hawar Islands.
Hani Bader, a directorate’s employee, caught the moment of the newly-hatched Socotra sea crow. A large population of the endangered species, known locally as “Liwa”, finds a natural habitat in Socotra, the Arabian Gulf.
