MANAMA: A TECHNOLOGY expert from Bahrain will be taking part in Oman’s first virtual expo and summit.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Society president Dr Jassim Haji will speak on Bahrain’s progress in AI and opportunities for growth, at ‘Future Tech Event’ to be held today and tomorrow with a global participation and focus on latest ICT (information and communications technology) trends and innovations.
He will also be representing Bahrain and speaking at RAISE 2020 (Responsible AI for Social Empowerment 2020), a mega virtual summit on Artificial Intelligence which was inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and continues until Friday.
The event has been organised by India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and NITI Aayog.
Dr Jassim’s speech is being organised by the Indian Embassy tomorrow.
In the past six months, the expert has taken part in a number of conferences highlighting artificial intelligence such as AI World Malaysia, AI Health Dubai, Khaleej Times Seminar, Arab-Africa Mining, Times of India Conference and other GCC conferences.
