The Health Ministry has announced the deaths of two citizens, a man aged 80 and a woman aged 51, from Covid-19 today.
This takes today's tally to five and the total number of fatalities to 298 in the kingdom.
The ministry has expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
Bahrain yesterday registered 246 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 420 recoveries and one fatality.
A Bahraini man, 76, died yesterday taking the toll to 293. The Health Ministry revealed that of the 246 new cases, 60 were expatriate workers, 183 contacts of local cases and three travel-related. It said an additional 420 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 73,841.
