Busaiteen retained their spot in the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League despite going down 0-1 to Bahrain Club in the second leg of the qualifier at Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town last night.
The only goal of the match was scored through a penalty kick by Nigerian player Victor in the 65th minute.
Busaiteen, who won the first leg 4-1 last Thursday, secured a 4-2 aggregate score that enabled them to continue in the league.
Second Division winners Malkiya and runners-up Budaiya have already booked their berths in the Premier League while Al Shabab and Al Hala, who came in the ninth and 10th positions last season, were relegated from the top flight
