Muscat: Oman Air has announced that its Covid-19 coverage for passengers travelling to all destinations will be valid for 31 days from the day of the flight, but will not cover those passengers who have a residence permit.
"Book your flights on omanair.com, or through the reservations centre, or any of our retail offices or with your travel agent and you’ll automatically receive complimentary Covid-19 coverage for medical and quarantine expenses related costs," a statement by Oman Air said.
"The cover is valid from the first day of your trip up to 31 days, you will remain covered even if you travel onwards to another city, the airline said, highlighting the following conditions.
- Pre-approval is subject to terms and conditions.
- Effective from 1st October 2020 until 31st March 2021 for ticket issued from 1st October 2020.
- This coverage is not applicable for those with an Omani Resident Card (non-citizens) travelling to Oman."
