MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad yesterday performed the funeral prayer for the late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa at the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Mosque in Riffa.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, also performed the funeral prayer, along with senior members of the Royal Family, senior officers of the BDF, Interior Ministry and National Guard.
His Majesty then received condolences, in the presence of the Crown Prince, on the death of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman, from senior members of the Royal Family.
They offered to the King deepest condolences, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in vast paradise, protect the King and bless him with good health and happiness.
The King thanked them all for their sincere condolences, sympathy and noble feelings, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in vast paradise.
The Crown Prince attended the funeral of the late HRH Prince Khalifa at the Hunainiya cemetery in Riffa.
A number of senior members of the Royal Family and senior officers from the BDF, the Interior Ministry and the National Guard were also in attendance.
The Crown Prince received the condolences of senior members of the Royal Family and in turn expressed his profound gratitude for their compassionate and sincere sentiments.
